US STUDENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE--Part-Time

Global University has an opening in the U.S. Student Services department of the Academic Affairs division for a part-time (20 hours per week) U.S. Student Services Representative position.  Hours are 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with possibility for schedule flexibility.  The basic function of this position is processing orders for courses, record keeping, initiating and updating transcripts, preparing certificates of completion, and other activities which relate to the educational needs of Global students.  Applicants must:  (1) have adeptness at complete, accurate and precise ordering and record keeping; (2) have a disposition for handling pressure points of heavy work-load periods; (3) have strong, positive telephone skills; (4) have good organization skills; and (5) have self-motivation and dependability. ADMISSIONS AND RECORDS ASSISTANT

Global University has an opening in the Admissions and Records Department for a part-time (18 hours per week) Admissions and Records Assistant.  Hours vary during 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  The basic function of this position is to assist the Admissions and Records office in the processing of student applications, incoming transcripts, and records maintenance.  Applicants must:  (1) have good record-keeping skills and attention to detail; (2) have good telephone skills and presence; (3) have the ability to work with minimum supervision; (4) have strong written communication skills including spelling, grammar, and business communication; (5) have good interpersonal communication skills; and (6) Spanish language fluency, both written and spoken (preferred but not required). LEAD PROGRAMMER ANALYST

Global University has an opening in the Information Technology department for a full-time (40 hours per week) Lead Programmer Analyst.  Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  The basic function of this position is to provide lead programming and development support for Global University software applications, web-based applications, and websites.  Applicants must:  (1) have Web programming experience in HTML/CSS and a web scripting language (ex: Coldfusion, PHP); (2) have experience with application programming in Visual Studio in a .NET language; (3) have experience in creating dynamic websites via SQL server integration; (4) have two or more years related experience in designing and programming/maintaining applications using Borland C++, Visual Studio C#, ColdFusion, web interfaces, and database management systems (SQL Server); and (5) have basic Windows server administration (IIS, SQL, DNS). LANGUAGE EDITOR/SPANISH CURRICULUM COORDINATOR

Global University has an opening in the University Materials Development Department for a full-time (32 hours per week) Language Editor/Spanish Curriculum Coordinator.  Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and flexible, Monday through Friday.  The basic function of this position is to review, edit, revise, and prep for print Spanish and French materials for Global University.  Applicants must:  (1) Strong written and spoken English, Spanish, and French language skills; (2) have proofreading and editing skills; (3) Ability to work with details; (4) have ability to concentrate for sustained reading; and (5) have self-motivation and dependability.
