Instructions for Participating in the ceremony:
Step 1:
Students enrolled through a National Office or Graduate Studies Center must contact their local enrollment office. The National Office or Graduate Studies Center should forward graduation requests and applicable forms to Global University’s assistant registrar in enough time that the graduation process can be completed before the May 1 commencement registration deadline. The registrar’s office cannot guarantee that graduation requests/applications received after April 1, 2013 will be processed before the May 1 commencement registration deadline. Please note that all course grades need to be posted and any other program requirements completed (capstone, thesis, etc.) BEFORE a graduation request/application is submitted. Students who are unable to complete the graduation process in enough time to register for commencement will not be eligible to participate in this year’s Commencement ceremony
Please note that Graduation Requests/Applications should only be submitted after all grades have been posted and any other program requirements completed; capstones, thesis, etc.
Step 2:
When your local enrollment office forwards your Graduation request/application to the international office, a program evaluation will be completed to verify that you have met all graduation requirements. Your graduation documents will then be mailed to your local enrollment office. After you receive your graduation documents you need to contact your local enrollment office for 2013 commencement registration instructions .
Step 3:
You must submit the 2013 Commencement Registration Form along with the appropriate fee to the GU commencement coordinator before May 1, 2013. If you need an official letter of invitation to apply for your VISA, please specify the details on the registration form.
Step 4:
Shortly after May 27, 2013, all ceremony participants will receive an information packet by e-mail. This packet will include complete information pertaining to the activities and events surrounding the 2013 Commencement.
