As part of her Cross-Cultural Communications course, Tan Ewe Lay, a Global University undergraduate student in Malaysia, ministered to a Hindu man from India. The man had been injured in a motorcycle accident, but instead of getting better, as the doctors predicted, he was getting worse. Tan took the time to develop a relationship with the man. As they talked, she shared how God could miraculously heal him of all of his wounds. Tan gave this injured Hindu man a Bible and began to show him in the Scripture all of the healings that God had performed.
As she showed the Bible verses to him one at a time, she asked him to read them aloud. She then patiently explained each verse to him. After praying for him, she asked the man to pray to Jesus for healing and daily claim the promises of God regarding this healing.
A few weeks later, the man himself confirmed to Tan he had been completely healed of his injuries! Will you pray with Tan and Global University that this physical healing will bring a lasting transformation to this Hindu man’s soul as well.
“The healing ministry is very important,” Tan states. “It opens doors for sharing the gospel to people of all cultures. Everyone who is sick needs God’s healing, irrespective of race and religion.”
Every day, around the world, students of Global University find themselves applying their studies in real-life situations. And every day, because of their application of the Gospel, these same students are leading others to the Lord. Help Global University continue providing training worldwide so that more students can have the training they need to help others accept the offer of freedom that comes through Jesus Christ.
