Global University reaccredited for ten years by Higher Learning Commission

A message from President Gary Seevers:

It is my pleasure to announce that at its June 16, 2015 meeting, the Higher Learning Commission granted Global University reaccreditation for ten years.

The Self-Study was written over the course of a year (2014), and the Higher Learning Commission accreditation team conducted its site visit February 16-18, 2015. The team’s report includes many commendations for the unique ways in which Global University delivers education and services its students.

Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accreditation shows that Global University is in close alignment with the Commission’s five accreditation criteria of excellence, and affirms the high quality of our academic programs, the effectiveness of our operations, and the quality and competence of our faculty, staff, and governance process.

This is a milestone in the success of Global University, and I extend my appreciation and congratulations to Provost John (Jack) Nill and the Academic Affairs group, especially Vice Provost Randy Hedlun, Director of Research and Evaluation Brad Ausbury, and Provost Emeritus Robert Love, as well as the many working groups, faculty, administrators, and staff who contributed to the successful campus-wide process.

Dr. Gary L. Seevers, Jr., President
