Board of Directors convenes at the International Office

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri- Global University the accredited, specialized distance education university, of the Assemblies of God is pleased to receive its Board of Directors for its fall bi-annual meeting at the International Office in Springfield, Missouri. Every year the Board of Directors meets during the spring and fall to strategize and provide leadership for the university.

This year, the Board of Directors will meet on Monday October 22 and Tuesday October 23. The bi-annual meeting will begin on Monday evening with a reception dinner which will also be attended by the Board of Administration members from Global University and their spouses. After the dinner, the Board of Directors’ advancement, constituency, finance and academic sub-committees will meet.

Global University’s Board of Directors will resume their business meetings on Tuesday October 23 at 8:30 am. Business sessions will continue until noon followed by a lunch break. Meetings will continue after their lunch until around 3:00 pm.

“The time together is very valuable to keep moving the university forward,” said Dr. Gary L. Seevers Jr., President of Global University. “We value this special time with our Board of Directors. We are thankful for their commitment and support to the university.”
