SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Global University is excited to participate in the 2013 General Council biennial event, set to take place in Orlando, Florida from August 5-9, through representation in the exhibit hall and meal functions.
This year’s exhibit booth displays will focus on the areas of enrollment and missions, with an overarching theme of Global as both academic friendly as well as missions friendly. The missions exhibit display will focus on Global’s work to establish Bible schools in China, Cuba and India, and both booths will include exciting giveaway prizes, among them two trips to Cuba.
Global University will also host several meal functions throughout the week, including two luncheons highlighting projects in India and China, as well as a dinner to recognize Global University Cuba. Tickets for these events are being offered at no cost to senior pastors and spouses, or to the general public at $25 each. Additionally, a Global University sponsored dinner will be held Tuesday evening, where several distinguished individuals will be inducted into Global’s Hall of Honor. Tickets for this dinner are $25 each and can be reserved on the General Council registration page (www.generalcouncil.ag.org).
Finally, the Alumni, Students and Friends Reception, scheduled for Wednesday evening, August 7, will be a come and go event, purposed for the fellowship of Global’s alumni and partners.
“We are excited to present both the missions side as well as the academic side of Global University to prospective students and participants at this year’s General Council event,” says Dr. Gary Seevers, President of Global University. “With our presence in the exhibit area, as well as the meal functions, we hope to encourage attendees to look into ways that they can become involved with Global University. The opportunities are many. We look forward to seeing you there.”
