SPRINGFIELD, Missouri— Global University, an accredited distance education university of the Assemblies of God, has officially launched a University-wide Evangelism Fund campaign.
This fundraising campaign seeks to raise funds to print low cost evangelism courses for the national Assemblies of God church in Ivory Coast, West Africa. The church plans to do a major evangelism outreach over the coming weeks and months and they desperately need evangelism materials to place into the hands of those they minister to.
To ensure the church has the quantity they anticipate distributing, they are requesting the printing of 20,000 courses. The Evangelism Fund exists to service these types of requests. To date, over 8.9 million people all over the world have utilized Global University’s evangelism materials, and the need continues to rise to print at a low cost these life saving materials.
Each course costs only $1 to print. $10 prints 10 courses, $25 prints 25 courses and so on. Missionary Tim Teague, Dean of Global University’s School for Evangelism & Discipleship, reflects, “Our greatest desire is to first win souls to the kingdom and then to help believers grow in their understanding of God and His great mission for their lives.” Teague states, “Evangelism materials such as “The Great Questions of Life” and "Highlights in the Life of Christ" can be printed economically and delivered to churches around the world who are sharing these resources in hopes of planting the evangelism seed.”
President of Global University, Dr. Gary Seevers, says, “The efforts of evangelism and discipleship are a key element to the mission of Global University. That is, to win the lost and train the found, everywhere!”
